If you’re like me, and I figure you probably are, you have had about 12 hours of sleep in the past 3 days while you try to fix VT Search. And coincidentally, your wife took your glasses with her to New York and she won’t be back until Wednesday.

What to do?

Despair? No. Because if you’re like me, and I figure you probably are, you have items laying around the house that will save the day and save your aching eyes from wearing contact lenses for 20 hours at a stretch while staring at a computer screen.

The solution:

1. Find the pair of old glasses from 6 years ago. They are missing one of the earpieces.

2. From the floor, select a piece of stretchy string from a decimated cat toy.

3. Combine them and voila.

Then strap your new glasses to your head and you are ready to go!
